Introduction


Hello everybody! I'm Christian and I'm an Italian Pokémon fan and collector. I was born in 1994 and my great passion for Pokémon started at age 7 (2001) and has never left me since. At the time I started to get hooked on the Pokémon TV series but soon entered the world of Pokémon video games when my parents gifted me my first Game Boy Advance with Pokémon Sapphire (2003). Pokémon Emerald was the first game that I voluntarily asked my parents to buy for me and from this point on I have always followed the franchise up to the present day. I still remember the unforgettable moments at the Pokémon Day organized in Italy in 2006 and the rush to grab the special 10 ANIV legendary Pokémon. When I joined this site in 2009, RNG abuse had not yet been cracked, and the earliest forms of trading were Pokémon bred from Dittos that weren't flawless. After RNG abuse was discovered by mingot, I RNG abused my first ever Pokémon (a flawless Eevee on Gen 4), and in 2009 I opened my very first trade thread where I traded the centerpieces of my collection. On July 18, 2009, I RNG abused one of the rarest and most difficult Pokémon to obtain at the time, a Shiny flawless Feebas at Mt. Coronet. I still keep that Pokémon in my collection nowadays, a Pokémon that is older than some kids playing the games these days, my "Oceania". After a small hiatus in 2013-2016, I came back to Smogon during late Gen 6 and opened "The Pokémon Village". I became a contributor to the forums and to the Smogon Facebook Giveaways shortly after. From that point forward, I traded with hundreds of people worldwide, creating indelible memories. I organised and participated to a plethora of giveaways in the Wi-Fi subforum obtaining precious parents from which I built a lot of Pokémon featured in this thread. The Pokémon Village is my personal "work" and is meant to include all the Pokémon I have in my Pokémon HOME collection. Everything in this thread is collected and sorted by National Pokédex order and my main goal nowadays is obtaining flawless Pokémon that are fully ribboned throughout each generation and nicknamed accordingly, adapting to themes that come from every cultural facet of this world. This trend started with Sephirona and continued with Max. Optimizer, which have both been a great inspiration to me over the course of time. Since I have the specific tools to RNG abuse any Pokémon I desire in every game and generation, this thread has mainly become a showcase and reference thread. Regardless of that, don't be afraid to ask for something you might like, because there's a high chance that I give it to you for free.

Abide by Smogon Wi-Fi Rules.

Do not trade me hacked/genned/manipulated Pokémon. This hopefully goes without saying.

All of my Pokémon are 100% legit, obtained through RNG mechanics on cartridge by yours truly.

All of my Pokémon are fully redistributable by everyone.

Please only post a CMT in this thread if you have or have had a trade thread on Smogon.

Please note that all the Pokémon listed here are cloned.

I’m only interested in flawless, competitive Pokémon.

I don’t mind if the Pokémon traded to me originated from an emulator or comes from an injected wondercard.

In accordance with the rules, I do not accept Pokémon that have been transferred via unofficial means (i.e via PKHeX).

I’m generally not interested in Pokémon which have been Hyper Trained or in Pokémon whose nature has been changed via mints.

Regarding past gen Pokémon trades on the Switch, I'm only interested in Pokémon that have been fully ribboned on the (3)DS games.

I’m only interested in nicknamed Pokémon. In fact, all of my own Pokémon generally have a nickname. Do not hesitate to tell me if you want a particular nickname on a specific Pokémon.

If I give you something for free, you should give it for free too.

Letuli is my fourth personal Ribbon Master project from Gen 3, featuring all the Gen 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 ribbons (bar National Ribbon, only obtainable on Colosseum/XD purified Pokémon). The nickname is a reference to Freddie Letuli, who originated the fire knife dance in 1946 in San Francisco. To make Letuli even more unique, I decided to catch a shiny Cubone from Fire Red in a Master Ball (with the best Adamant spread on it available) and keep it unevolved throughout the generations until I could evolve it into Alolan Marowak on Gen 7.

マヌ (Manu) is my third personal Ribbon Master project from Gen 3, and even if I couldn’t get the battle ribbons on it for obvious reasons, I still consider it special and trophy case worthy, as I needed to wait million of Emerald frames in order to obtain it. Morevore, Manu has the exclusive XD move Fake Out which is very useful in Doubles, where he shines best. The name Manu (मनु) is a reference to the homonymous progenitor of mankind in Hindu faith. Shiny Mew is also only available from Japanese Emerald. Credits for the nickname go to Kanon90.

Damon is my sixth personal Ribbon Master project from Gen 3, featuring every possible ribbon from Gen 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8. Much like Entei, Raikou has been quite buffed on Pokémon Sword & Shield. Even if it lost Hidden Power (Hidden Power Ice was somehow mandatory in the previous generations - in fact Damon has been RNG abused with the best Hidden Power Ice spread available on Pokémon Colosseum), Raikou can now learn Scald on Gen 8, which hits Ground-type Pokémon for super effective damage just like Hidden Power Ice did, and it's also able to learn Aura Sphere, without the downside of being locked to a Rash nature anymore! The only way to obtain a flawless Raikou from Gen 3 is getting it from Pokémon Colosseum, since due to the Roaming glitch on Pokémon Fire Red & Leaf Green the Johto beasts have a maximum of 0 IV in Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed; moreover, Raikou is also pretty tedious to RNG abuse as the Cipher Lab is a noisy area and your frames will quickly jump all over the place: this explains why Coloseum Raikou is a perfect candidate for a Ribbon Master! The nickname Damon is a reference to the mighty tiger ridden by the ten-armed goddess Durga (दुर्गा) into war in Hindu mythology, symbol of immense power, bravery and valor.

Yajna is my fifth personal Ribbon Master project from Gen 3, featuring every possible ribbon from Gen 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8. Game Freak decided to make things a lot easier for Entei on Pokémon Sword & Shield: Flare Blitz, being a Gen 4 Event exclusive move on Entei up to Gen 7, became a Technical Record, while Extreme Speed, move limited to the same exact Gen 4 event, is now a simple Level-Up move! Entei's Hidden Ability, Inner Focus, blocking every kind of Attack drop (most notably from Intimidate), became the standard ability on every physical Entei. The Ability Patch, introduced in the Crown Tundra DLC, made the Hidden Ability available on every kind of Entei, meaning that Entei from Pokémon Colosseum can easily obtain its HA! With all these things considered, it was finally time to acquire myself a special Entei from this game and Ribbon Master it. The nickname Yajna, meaning "sacred fire", refers to the fire rituals and sacrifices practiced in devotion of Lord Vishnu (विष्णु) in Hinduism and connects well with Entei's shared move with Ho-Oh, Sacred Fire.

Azzurra is my seventh personal Ribbon Master project from Gen 3, featuring every possible ribbon from Gen 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8. After getting myself a flawless shiny Entei and Raikou from Pokémon Colosseum, it was finally time to get my hands on the last Pokémon to complete the Crown Beast trio: a beautiful shiny Suicune in a Dive Ball! With the Substitute + Calm Mind set Azzurra can effectively abuse Pressure in a number of ways, especially for PP stalling. Maximum HP and Speed investment with a Timid nature gives Azzurra the most amount of overall bulk and makes her as fast as possible so that she can set up Substitutes more safely. The nickname Azzurra is a feminine Italian name and it means "sky blue", the color associated with both the sea and the sky in Italian and with shiny Suicune's color palette. The name also means "pure"; "clear", and can link to the fact that Suicune has the power to walk across water and purify it with one touch, as it dashes through the North wind.

A few years after obtaining Oceania, my Gen 4 Milotic caught a few months after I joined Smogon in 2009, and learning RNG Abuse in Generation 3, I thought it was finally time to get my hands on a shiny Milotic from the Hoenn region, which would have become Oceania’s beloved sister right after the moment I would have captured her. Water-type Pokémon are my favourites and Milotic is my favourite Water-type Pokémon, hence a Ribbon Master Milotic from her game of origin could not be missing from my collection. I checked that a Bold 0 Atk spread was possible and hittable in Pokémon Emerald thanks to the Synchronize mechanics, and RNG abused a square shiny savefile with 00350 as TID, to match Milotic's Pokédex number. Luckily, this spread had multiple encounter slots, and I eventually managed to run into a wild shiny Feebas. After securing her in a Dive Ball, Raanana's ribboning journey finally began! Milotic, in a certain sense, has been my thread mascot throughout the generations and I really wish she will be included in every Gen 8+ Pokémon game. The nickname Raanana (רַעֲנָנָּה) is a Hebrew feminine name, meaning "rebirth". I decided to pick this nickname as Raanana has been trained and ribboned during the challenges that the world is recently facing, marking the desire to start a new, positive and prosperous cycle.

Nikephoros is my eighth personal Ribbon Master project from Gen 3, featuring every possible ribbon from Gen 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8. Colosseum shiny Metagross has always held a special place in my heart because it is the only Metagross that you can Ribbon Master that can be obtained outside of a Pokéball in the Generation 3 games: the one you find at Steven's House after Defeating Elite Four in RSE is, in fact, in a plain Pokéball. Even if Colosseum Metagross is not as laborious to obtain as Raikou, it still requires a few tricks to do in battle to advance your battle frames in a consistent way. I decided to run the Choice Band set on Nikephoros, Metagross's staple set since the Gen 3 era, with Explosion obtained via BDSP, otherwise incompatible with the Master Rank ribbon. Nikephoros (Νικηφόρος) is a Greek male name, meaning "the one who carries victory".

Gioia is my first personal Ribbon Master project from Gen 3. This lovely creature has every ribbon from Gen 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 (bar National Ribbon, only obtainable on Colosseum/XD purified Pokémon). Latias is one of my favourite Pokémon, plus it's shiny and it’s caught with the only Luxury Ball available on Emerald. Her nickname means "joy" in italian, one of the most meaningful of all human emotions. Shout out to Ezeltjeswag and Lego for helping me in getting the Earth Ribbon on her.

Yoshiyuki is my second personal Ribbon Master project from Gen 3. Like Gioia, Yoshiyuki has all the available ribbons from Gen 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 (bar National Ribbon, only obtainable on Colosseum/XD purified Pokémon). Originally RNG abused with Hidden Power Fighting, Yoshiyuki has now Aura Sphere in Gen 8, a definitely stronger Fighting-type move! Yoshiyuki (義行) is a Japanese male name, meaning "the one who acts virtuously". Shout out to Xen for providing the legit Eon ticket on my Sapphire game.
